Kävin perjantaina Tampereen käsityömessuilla läkähtymässä tarjonnan paljouteen. Ostin aika isolla summalla tarvikkeita, etukäteen harkittuja ostoksia, osa jopa etukäteistilauksena messuilta noudettavaksi. Loput juttuja, jotka olin päättäänyt hankkia messuilta, jos on tarjolla ja jos ei, tilaten netistä.
No, jotain heräteostoksiakin tarttui mukaan, mutta jos olisin tiennyt, että ostamaani on kaupan, olisin niitäkin harkinnut jo etukäteen. Nyt en mistään löydä käyntikorttia, jonka otin, enkä nimeä muista, mutta eräs nainen myi kivimessujen puolella poronluusta tehtyjä koruja. Hänellä oli myös muuta luista: ostinkin luisen kinnasneulan, luisen sukkulan ja luisen lusetin! Luiset lautanauhalaudat jäivät ostamatta, niitäkin olisi muutama kappale ollut.
Nyt ei neulakintaitten teko ainakaan neulasta ole kiinni, on luinen ja pari puista.
*** They had annual craft fair in Tampere last weekend. It is the largest one of it´s kind in Finland, so there were many, way too many sellers a little woman can handle. I bought quite a lot of stuff, but it was almost all planned beforehand. I´ll buy, if I found and if not, I would order later.
Well, of course you have to buy something unplanned too, but this time I bought stuff that I would have planned, if I had known there would be someone selling the things. So, there were lady who sold jewellry she had carved from reindeer bone. She had also something else: I bought a naalbinding needle made of reindeer bone, a shuttle made of reindeer bone and a lucett made of reindeer bone. She had also a few tablets made of (you guess it) made of reindeer bone, but those I left there.
So my naalbinding would not stop to the need of a needle now, I have two wooden ones and one, did I mention it, made of bone.
